The 32nd Annual Awards Dinner of the Indian American Kerala Cultural and Civic Center, Inc. will take place on October 19, 2024, at the Kerala Center in Elmont, New York.
The event will recognize eight exceptional Malayalees for their significant contributions in various fields, with attendance expected from prominent leaders and officials from both the USA and India.
The honorees this year include Johnson Samuel for Humanitarian and Social Service, Suja Thomas for Nursing Leadership, Wesley Mathews for Public Service, Dr. Sunanda Nair for Performing Arts, Hashim Mooppan for Legal Services, Samcy Kodumon for Pravasi Malayalam Literature, Sibu Nair for Community Service, and Varkey Abraham for Business Leadership.
The awards recognize individuals who have not only excelled in their careers but also contributed to societal progress, setting an example for others.
"The Kerala Center has been honoring outstanding achievers since 1992," said Dr. Thomas Abraham, Trustee Board Chairman. "Their achievements continue to inspire, and this year is no different."
The ceremony, starting at 5:30 PM, will also feature a variety of entertainments and a dinner.
Over the years, the Kerala Center has recognized more than 185 American Malayalees, celebrating their professional and social contributions.
