New Brunswick, NJ— The Bihar Jharkhand Association of North America (BJANA) hosted a grand Golden Jubilee Conclave on May 24–25, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency, New Jersey. Over 700 guests from the U.S., India, and other countries joined the two-day celebration, marking 50 years of cultural unity and diaspora achievements.

Themed “Celebrating Legacy, Inspiring the Future,” the event blended cultural pride with global progress. Super 30 founder Anand Kumar, Amazon’s Rohit Prasad, Holtec’s Dr. Kris Singh, and other Indian-origin leaders headlined the panels. The finale performance by Kailash Kher electrified the audience.
From district flag parades to startup pitches, the conclave offered cultural showcases, networking, and tourism promotion. A pavilion displayed Madhubani art and crafts, while panels highlighted AI, health, and women’s leadership.
“This event shows how far our community has come, and how much we can still do together.” said BJANA President Alok Kumar.
BJANA’s 50th year reflects the growing influence of the Bihari-Jharkhandi diaspora and its role in shaping global narratives through culture, innovation, and unity.
