Indian Consul 'Officer' Applauded for COVID-19 Work at Farewell Dinner

The Greater Morris County Indian American Association hosted a farewell and thank you dinner for Mr. Vijay Krishnan, the outgoing Consul for Community Affairs at the Indian Consulate in New York.

 

The event celebrated Mr. Krishnan's exceptional service, particularly his efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, and welcomed the incoming consul, Ms. Pragya Singh. Mr. Krishnan played a crucial role in coordinating assistance for Indian nationals in the USA, particularly in the New York area, which has the highest number of Indian diaspora.

  • As the Consul for Community Affairs, Mr. Krishnan coordinated critical support for Indian nationals in the USA, including visa and travel assistance.
