Telugu Women Shine in Atlanta: A Grand Women’s Day Celebration Draws 700+

Duluth, GA – The Global Telangana Association (GTA) hosted a spectacular International Women’s Day celebration on March 7 at Jade Banquet Hall, bringing together over 700 dynamic women for an evening of empowerment, cultural pride, and community bonding.

With inspiring speakers, mesmerizing performances, and heartfelt camaraderie, the event was a true tribute to the strength and achievements of South Asian women in the USA.

 

The night kicked off with a powerful panel featuring Dr. Lalitha C. Medepalli, a renowned cardiologist, who shared essential health insights, while Forsyth County Commissioners Laura Semanson and Mendy Moore spoke on leadership and resilience.

 

Entrepreneur Deepa Reddy Madadi and Tanishq Atlanta owner Nisha Agarwal added their wisdom on business and success, leaving the audience truly inspired.

 

Adding a touch of Desi vibrance, the stage came alive with breathtaking performances choreographed by Anuja Golla, Shireesha Mantri, and others, celebrating the rich traditions of Telangana. A distinguished panel of judges, including Anusha Vangara, Priya Madhav, and Veena Pothula, ensured the competition remained top-notch.

 

The event saw the presence of esteemed South Asian leaders such as Sohini Ayinala, Hetal Mehta, Malathi Nagabhairava, Neetu Chauhan, Deepika Reddy Nalla, and many more, making it a true powerhouse gathering.

 

The driving force behind this grand success was the GTA Women Leadership Team, led by Swapna Kaswa, Aparna Pingle, Ramya Kamarajugadda, Pallavi Shiva, Dr. Nandini Sunkireddy, Shilpa Sarapu, Ramya Harika Putcha, and Bindiya Ramesh, alongside GTA-Atlanta’s energetic EC Team. Their dedication ensured every detail was flawlessly executed.

 

GTA President-Elect Bapu R Kethireddy, GTA-Atlanta President Arvind Katta, and GTA-Atlanta President-Elect Santhosh Gaddam expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the women who made the event special.
