Batta wrote, "All of the desi dancers in Diljit’s Diluminati Tour were not paid and were just expected to perform for free. It’s disappointing to see an artist of this calibre cut corners by stepping on the throats of the Desi Dancer industry."

 

He emphasized that dancers should be included in the production budget and fairly compensated for their contributions.
