Bhārat/India/Dallas – Dallas-based rheumatologist Dr. Sharad Lakhanpal has been awarded the prestigious Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (PBSA) for 2025.
The award, the highest honor given to non-resident Indians (NRIs), recognizes his groundbreaking contributions to medical science and his global impact in the field of rheumatology.
Dr. Lakhanpal, a clinical professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, has devoted decades to advancing rheumatology through research, clinical trials, and education.
