How She Got Caught:
- Son's hotel staff became suspicious when she insisted on traveling from Goa to Bangalore by taxi instead of taking a more convenient flight option. They attempted to suggest a flight, but she became increasingly agitated and began giving irrational reasons. Eventually, she left in a separate taxi.
- When the hotel staff checked her room, they discovered some bloodstains, which might have been a result of her struggle to fit the body into the luggage bag.
- The hotel staff promptly called the Goa police, who initiated an operation and successfully apprehended her.
What Next
- After her initial six-day remand expired Monday, the police presented Suchana Seth in Goa Children's Court.
- According to a report by Hindustan Times, an unnamed senior police officer informed PTI that Seth was not cooperating with the investigators.
