Sunnyvale, California - Choosing a career can be stressful, but on March 2nd in Sunnyvale, CA, the Taarika Foundation made the journey easier for over 100 Desi teens and parents with an inspiring career fair.
Led by Dr. Leena Khanzode, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, the event aimed to reduce career anxiety by connecting students directly with 40+ industry experts from fields like medicine, finance, psychology, education, and the arts.
From doctors and therapists to artists and financial advisors, professionals shared insider tips, career advice, and personal success stories. The interactive setting gave teens the chance to ask questions, explore new possibilities, and gain real-world insights to shape their future.
Las Altos Vice Mayor Neysa Fligor also attended, praising the initiative and picking raffle winners for exciting prizes.
Dr. Khanzode summed it up perfectly: “It truly takes a village to raise happy and successful kids.” Thanks to Taarika Foundation, many young minds left feeling hopeful, motivated, and ready to chase their dreams.
